Missing Paramedic in Mexico

A paramedic from Nayarit went missing on Saturday, March 28, while traveling for work to Ixtlán del Río, in the southern region of the state. According to family and friends, they lost contact with him around 17:00, and his whereabouts have been unknown since then. The 24-year-old young man is a paramedic with the DELTA Volunteer Rescue Group, where he has participated for 4 years. García Díaz also works as a driver for the InDriver platform, and on the day of his disappearance, he was making a delivery service with a package whose contents are unknown. According to his family, the young man was wearing light blue jeans, a black sweater, and a pink helmet, riding a blue and black Pulsar N250 motorcycle equipped with a transport box and a 'star of life' logo, which distinguishes paramedics. The teams asked the public to contact the number provided by the family if they see the paramedic or his motorcycle. The area he was traveling through is considered high-risk, as there are official reports indicating that the Jalisco New Generation Cartel (CJNG) operates in this area, and there are precedents of assaults on transporters, vehicle thefts, and disappearances of people on secondary roads near Santa María del Oro, San Pedro Lagunillas, and the Ixtlán del Río region. To date, the authorities have not issued official information on the case; however, family and friends are maintaining an active search and have requested the collaboration of the population. 'We don't know what could have happened. We just want to bring him back safe and sound. If anyone sees him, please let us know, because he was just doing his job and is a paramedic,' the paramedic's acquaintances stated.
